Outer Banks Commercial Real Estate
By Kevin P. O'Brien
One of the east coast's finest vacation destinations
is the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The last ten years have seen it
grow from a fishing town into a growing vacation area.. Its pristine
unspoiled beaches, unique attractions, and proximity to many state and
national parks, have it on a continuing trend of becoming a world
famous destination. The majority of businesses that are available are
going to be related to tourism or servicing the needs of businesses
that are reliant on tourism.
Even the last two years, which have
been difficult years for the national economy and locally for real
estate in the Outer Banks have been strong years for tourism. Strong
years for tourism translates into a growing need for businesses in the
Outer Banks.
Last year saw the occupancy rates up over 2%. Dare
County in the OBX took in over $350,000,000 in occupancy receipts. As
the number of people visiting grows, so will the need for new
businesses. Luckily for those looking to start a business, prices have
fallen even in commercial real estate. Today's market favors the
entrepreneur looking to take advantage of today's market.
The
Outer Banks offers tremendous opportunity for those looking to invest
in commercial real estate or those looking to open a business. Some
popular businesses include restaurants, tour companies, equipment
rentals, sandwich shops, and more. As long as you have the idea, you
can make it happen. Are you ready to start your search to own a
business at the beach today.
I spend my days representing buyers and sellers of Outer Banks homes and also work with those looking to buy Outer Banks Commercial Properties. When not working find me enjoying the Outer Banks with my two dogs.
